Corporate Communications Manager (4 days per week)

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER with a WIDE SPECTRUM OF COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE required for 4 MONTH COTNRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in GLASGOW, working 4 DAYS PER WEEK.

The role of the corporate communications team is to deliver the company communications interests in marketing, design service and internal communications with support on corporate matters for the web, digital and press and media relations teams.

The role is to cover maternity leave and duties will include:

- Managing implementation of the internal communication strategy and corporate communications plan as required
- Overseeing management and update of internal communications content, including gathering and writing of news articles, communications template updates and newsletters
- Responsibility for analysis and advice on brand guidance and implementation
- Marketing materials organisation
- Lead, advise and analyse Intranet content, approving and editing implementation of updates when required
- Prepare a strategy for internal communications for major events interest
- Lead advice to organisation for communications and marketing campaigns advice

Experience required:

- Experience and understanding of the various communications specialisms; event organisation, marketing, internal communications, publications, PR & press, web-based information
- Experience engaging at senior stakeholder level
- Good writing and editing skills and be able to present material for wide use across the company in a positive format and style, translate and summarise technical documents
- Be familiar with developing organisational policy and strategy support for social networking forms of communications
- Familiar with content management systems
