Corporate Applications Engineer

Provide engineering support to multiple systems in the Corporate Applications Support area. The Engineer for Corporate Applications will provide on-going technical support for multiple applications requiring a minimum of 5 years developing and supporting applications using .NET framework, JAVA, Unix Shell Scripting and Oracle PL Scripting. Duties will mainly include support for the learning management system including day to day ticket support and research on moving the system to the cloud.

WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:
Complete design documentation including network diagrams
Manage about 15-20 tickets per week
Complete and execute on test plans
Manage ~ 50 administrators throughout the company who are power users for LMS
Provide weekly status reports
Evaluate products currently in-house to provide recommendations on future product upgrades
Coordinate with team members to provide work estimations for proposed projects
Maintain roadmap for LMS system

SKILLS:

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
5-10 years experience supporting multiple applications across an enterprise
Experience with supporting Learning Management Systems a must
Experience with .NET framework and solid Java a must
Experience with Success Factors LMS a plus
Experience with Mainframe scheduling a plus
Experience with TomCat and Apache a plus
Strong finance background with skill set to maintain budgets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
