Core Engineer Assistant/Data Analyst

Background
Our Central Government client is currently recruiting for an Engineering Assistant/Data Analyst for an 11 month contract based in Bristol. This post is on the Operational Support Vehicles programme (OSVP) and is a through life team. You will be responsible for the provision and implementation of engineering policy and support to the client's Tri Service vehicle fleets. Assist in the management and technical support to operational planning and the recuperation of vehicles and major equipment (VAME). Provide engineer support to Project Managers, carrying out assessment, writing reports, field trials and confirmation of technical publications.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
You will be required to collect data, data entry and data analysis to identify any trends and if there are any anomalies then make the relevant manager aware. You will need to have engineering experience or qualification so you can provide an engineering judgement on the various products/vehicles.

Outputs/Deliverables to be achieved
Particular activities include:
1. Effective management of Operational Support Vehicles Programme input into E-Compendium in the delivery of recuperation from a programme perspective.
2. Support and provide engineering judgement and feedback to Programme managers on Equipment Failure Reports (EFRs) across OSVP.
3. Ensure the delivery of PEMA/CEMA within project parameters.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for OSVP Core engineering queries.
5. Assessor for OSVP GEMS.

Formal Qualifications Required
- Engineering qualification or experience
- It is highly desirable that you hold current SC clearance
