Copywriter

An exciting opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Copywriter. You will be working alongside other professionals within the Digital Retail Banking team. The ideal candidate will be able to work with stakeholders to create and edit web content for the Banks website. You will have knowledge in writing, editing and publishing web-ready content and provide advice and guidance for online communications.

The Digital Banking team is one of the most innovative parts of our clients business, and the perfect environment for anyone with digital experience in an E-commerce background. Our clients aim is to make the 'go-to' digital bank in the UK.

Project requirements:
. Able to balance the 'breaking with convention' and the constraints of a highly regulated business sector.
. Able to proactively familiarise themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities (although as much information will be provided by stakeholders/the team as possible).
. Able to use a number of tools/approaches to elicit copy requirements or obtain greater detail from stakeholders with regards to the brief.
. Confidentially present initial ideas and rationales back to the project team for review.
. Able to write a number of copy options which can be presented to the project team and eventually stakeholders.
. Can expertly modify existing copy either through a light 're-purpose' of content through to complete re-writes.
. Able to challenge project team and stakeholders in a sensitive, diplomatic and open manner.
. Able to provide peer-review support and can sub-edit (not proofread) other colleague's copy.

. Highly creative and imaginative
. Have an excellent eye for detail
. Have an interest in commerce, new advertising trends and techniques
. Self-motivated, well organised and able to manage workloads effectively
. Experience of working in a highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
