COOL:GEN DEVELOPERS, CONTRACT, DUBLIN

Would you like to work with a leading financial services institute based in Dublin?

Vantage Resources are urgently looking for a number of Cool:Gen developers to work on a large scale Financial Services project in Dublin. Payment Systems exposure would be a distinct advantage but not critical. You must be able to hit the ground running within a strong development team.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Excellent Cool:Gen knowledge (5 years+)
- Oracle 11g
- SQL
- PL/SQL
- HP UX
- Unix Scripting in C and MQ Series

IDEALLY YOU WILL POSSESS A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience developing applications to support domestic and international payment functionality (SEPA, CHAPS, BACS etc.)
- Excellent software design skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have proven documentation skills
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player
- Take a lead role in the design, construction and delivery of IT solutions
- Have worked in the banking and/or financial sectors for a number of years
- Have a proven track record of on time delivery
- Have a good understanding of the project life cycle/process
- Have excellent experience in writing detailed Technical Specifications
- Provide development estimates for proposed projects/tasks
- Provide timely feedback to the team manager/lead on progress and issues
