Control & Instrumentation Engineer

I am working on an exciting opportunity with a global chemical company based in the North East. The company is looking to find a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer to oversee three seperate plants from an C&I perspective.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferably Control & Instrumentation) or Chartership.
* Experience of working in a senior role on a Top Tier COMAH site in a process industry.
* Excellent technical understanding around all aspects of EC&I (design, comissioning, maintenance and project / installation work etc).
* The organisational skills to provide support to Instrument Engineers, DCS Programmers who work on site and manage workflow of contractors who periodically assist with projects in other technical areas.
* Ambition and desire to find a challenging long term career opportunity.

The seniority of this role means that the company have placed this vacancy in their highest pay scale for a technical role, meaning the salary on offer will be around £55k - £60k with a range of additional benefits such as a pension scheme, health care plan and bonus structure (up to 20% of salary, dependant on business performance).
