I AM LOOKING TO HIRE A CONTRACTS MANAGER FOR OUR HEALTH SECTOR CLIENT.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Standard Contract management skill, Standard Contract finance skills and Standard Contract data skills

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

The post holder is responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts, ensuring successful delivery of provider contracts commissioned by the CCGs, to time, to budget.

This will include activities supporting the assessment of needs, deciding priorities, contracting setting targets and measures, collecting, analysing & monitoring both quantitative and qualitative data and information, reporting performance and facilitating action plans to support CCGs in their lead commissioning role.

This includes taking responsibility for negotiation, interpretation and monitoring of contracts, variations, schedules and Grants providing integrated reports linking finance and activity.

The post holder will manage the CCGs contracting processes ensuring that they are consistent with national policy and local need and are integrated into the wider commissioning and service development strategies

Review management reports on their portfolio of contracts and recommend remedial action to be taken. Identifying areas of high financial risk for the CCG advising and recommending how these can be mitigated. Documenting the advice provided to CCG and as part of an audit trail/risk assurance process.
