Contract Role: C#/WPF Developer - Trade Desktop Application

Nomura International seek a experienced a strong C#/WPF developer to join the Rates Desktop technology team. The team is responsible for the design and development of trading systems for the Global Interest Rates business. Our developers create WPF interfaces, custom controls, service APIs, and other componentry required to realize the desks' needs.

Job Requirements:

- Commercial .NET C# GUI Desktop programming experience.
- Demonstrable WPF experience, including in-depth knowledge of the class library, dependency property mechanism, layout techniques, and control templates.
- .NET framework 4.0 or above essential.
- Understanding of multi-threading and Task Parallel library
- Familiarity with common user interface design patterns such as MVVM, MVP or MVC.
- Experience with dependency injection mechanisms.
- Knowledge of composite application concepts and frameworks.
- Background in constructing user interfaces for Real Time, services-oriented architectures.
- Strong appreciation of UX principles and styles
