CONTRACT - ORACLE DEVELOPER/BA | COMMODITY TRADING - GENEVA
Oracle Developer/BA is required for Global Commodity Trading company to maintain and improve their CTRM (trading solution).
You will join a dedicated IT trading team in charge of various trading management software working with Oracle forms and Oracle PL/SQL. As developer you will be involved in the continuous process of maintaining and improving their application used in their main offices all over the world.
THE ROLE:
- Analyse user requirements.
- Translate software requirements into programming code.
- Research, design and write new software programs and apps; test new programs and fault finding
- Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, developers, systems analysts, brokers and traders
- Investigate new technologies.
- Continually update technical knowledge and skills by external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- 5 years+ programming experience, (financial services or commodity trading)
- Relational databases development (Oracle PL/SQL), Oracle forms beneficial.
- Some expertise within Web development and/or .NET
- Degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education
- Fluent English speaking. French beneficial
