Contract O&G Project Manager, Aberdeen

Engineering PM, Aberdeen, 12months minimum, good days rates on offer.

I have telephone interview slots for Monday and Tuesday of next week, with face to face interviews for Thursday /Friday.

I am working with an ambitious and growing O&G company who are looking to grow their Engineering sections over the next two years, with a view to expand into new areas also. The company is looking for a driven and experienced candidate to help them drive their growth plans forward.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of Client projects. The position is designated to supervise all Project Management, Engineering and Design personnel Responsible for the Technical Integrity of all Engineering deliverables, fabrications and equipment.

This role will be required to:
-Manage the Legislative, Technical, QA/QC and HSE compliance of all Design Deliverables, Workpacks and Procured items / Materials and Fabrications that makes up engineering projects.
-Manage on-time, on-budget delivery of all Project Engineering deliverables, Materials, and Fabrications in accordance with agreed plans
-Demonstrate QHSE leadership by emphasising personal commitment and by promoting Company's QHSE policies.
-Maintain an efficient project engineering organisation:
- with clear responsibilities, authorities and command/reporting lines.
- with suitably qualified, experienced and competent personnel at all times.
- which secure good interdisciplinary coordination across the engineering floor.
- liaise with other organisational units as required

Core essentials include:

Commercially aware - cost control, risk identification & mitigation etc
Organisational skills - management & development of engineering teams
Conversant with Industry QHSE requirements and engineering standards
Oil & Gas Industry - 10yrs minimum
University degree in engineering or related commercial discipline or Charted Engineer is required

Previous candidates have been rejected for lack of understanding around; mechanical engineering; structures, piping and electrical and has hands on experience of delivery to client and international standards etc
