Contract Manager - Supply Chain Logistics

I am looking to hire a Contract Manager - Supply Chain Logistics for one of my public sector client.

Please see the below job specification:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1) planning and managing competitions in accordance with EU Public Procurement Regulations.

2) single source contract placement and extensions

3) management of existing contracts

Commercial Manager within the Air Commodities Team, responsible for completing commercial tasks on a variety of equipment and support projects and contracts, including the following:

- Planning and managing competitions in accordance with EU Public Procurement Regulations.
- Single source contract placements and extensions
- Management of existing contracts, including performance management and administration

The individual must have experience and working knowledge in the following areas:

- At least 3 years public sector commercial/procurement experience (Military commercial experience is highly desirable).
- working knowledge of EU Public Contracts Regulations (knowledge of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations is desirable)
- Planning and managing competitive tendering, including experience of development of Invitation to Tender documentation
- contract drafting (knowledge of DEFCONs and key policies is highly desirable)
- supplier/contractor management
- single source price analysis
- contract amendments and extensions.
