JOB TITLE: CONTRACT MANAGER - SUPPLY CHAIN; LOGISTICS
Duration: 6 months
BPSS (DS) - Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland)

JOB DETAILS:

- Candidate will be responsible for senior buyers and develop a robust communication process with both suppliers and customers.
- Candidate will be sourcing the market and negotiate with suppliers in order to achieve best value for money.
- Candidates will be responsible in putting contracts together and managing any contract-related issues.

QUALIFICATION: CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PURCHASING AND SUPPLY (CIPS) WILL BE DESIRABLE

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Public sector Procurement experience
- Ability to work-under pressure
- Previous experience in Managing staff two or more staffs- Eg: senior buyers

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing supplier relationships, adherence to KPIs and continually assessing quality of service and/or product to ensure effective, value for money delivery from the supply chain; Negotiating contracts and managing tenders; Holding supplier forums to proactively engage the network and keep up to date with developments in the industry; Preparing monthly reports and working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders to evaluate customer needs
