Contract Manager - Privacy Office Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a CONTRACT MANAGER - PRIVACY OFFICE to join our client in East Hanover, NJ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual provisions relating to privacy and data protection in various legal documents, initially under supervision of privacy officers but expected to work independently after several months.
- Managing the privacy aspects of the contract process from inception to conclusion.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least three (3) years of legal drafting experience is required (JD or Paralegal is preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to provide clear guidance to internal business partners on privacy issues in contracts.
- Able to negotiate privacy issues with outside attorneys and business partners to facilitate the execution of contracts.
- Team player, able to have rapport with internal business partners to understand the business needs and find appropriate business friendly solutions.
- Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial processes is a plus.
- Understanding of US and EU privacy laws is a plus.
