Contracts Manager - NHS

A Contracts Manager with experience and knowledge of NHS Contracting (PREREQUISITE) is required for a 3 month contract based in Aldershot or Eastleigh with ad-hoc travel to the opposite location.

The Contracts Manager will need to have knowledge of NHS contracting and be able to undertake research to pull together an Exec level report on national and international best practice when using alternative contract models such as Alliance contracts, lead provider contracts.

The report that the Contracts Manager produces will need to draw upon how such contract models are used to support new models of care such as Accountable Care organisations and the use of capitated budgets and outcomes based commissioning.

The Contract Manager will be responsible for a market analysis of the health and social care provider market within the North East Hampshire and Farnham region, where the Contract Manager will assess the features, benefits, strengths, weaknesses etc of each provider.

The Contract Manager will work with Business Intelligence teams to pull together information regarding population flow and referral and activity data to give a complete picture of the current health economy.
