Overview

Our client, a leading Engineering services provider, are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to fully manage all aspects of the training contract at a prestigious military training centre.

Key Responsibilities

- Efficient and effective management of all aspects of the delivery of Training Services, including the safety of work environments and staff welfare.
- Fully responsible for management of commercial and financial performance of the Training Contract, ensuring the on-site training services are delivered to contractual standards and within set financial targets.
- Ensure corporate approach to training design, standards and delivery is adhered to and achieved at all times.
- Responsible for financial performance ensuring reporting and P&L forecasting against budget is in line with corporate governance at all times.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to meet the emerging demands of the business and customer.
- Working with the Training Capability team to deliver transformation and modernisation of training as well as a successful outcome to the Engineering review programme.
- Establish and develop training delivery teams in line with customer and contractual requirements: promoting development and optimum performance of Training Managers and their teams.
- Implementation and transition to a new contract in 2014.
- Fully responsible for Health and Safety within the Training contract.

Qualifications

- Management qualification in occupational Health & Safety.
- Recognised qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience.
- Educated to HND/Degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working within a training environment.
- Membership of appropriate professional body.
- Full driving licence.
