Contract Manager

An opportunity has arisen with one of our major public sector clients for a Contract Manager position on a 9 month contract.

The Contract Manager is required to work on a major rail service based in the South East of England and to manage supplier relationships, adherence to KPIs and continually assess the quality of service; Negotiate contracts and managing tenders; Hold supplier forums to proactively engage the network and keep up to date with developments in the rail industry; Prepare monthly reports and working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders to evaluate customer needs.

The role will be responsible for the day-to-day contract management of one or more rail franchises; Supporting a team to provide expert advice; advise senior staff; Providing operational performance forecasts for use by internal stakeholders, including forecasts for the rail industry financial regimes; Provide rail operations and timetabling opinion and advice.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

*Experience of Contract Management within the rail industry
*Awareness of operations or operational performance within the rail industry
*Ability to present complex information in a clear understandable manner
*Strong commercial awareness
*Good stakeholder management experience
*Excellent Communication skills
