Contract Lead PMO - New York

JOB TITLE: CONTRACT LEAD PMO

LOCATION: NEW YORK

DAY RATE: $MARKET RATE

This is a rare opportunity to set up a PMO from scratch within an established business.

We are working with a high Profile Media and Advertising client who is looking to consolidate and regulate its global procedures and processes and to begin this are setting up new PMO functions at their global sites. The programme of work is valued globally in excess of $100m

As the PMO Lead for the US programmes you will set up the PMO, whilst managing and mentoring local permanent staff.

For this key role, you'll possess:

- A track record of setting up and leading a programme/project management office including line management and the creation and oversight of detailed plans and risk/issues registers
- A proven track record of delivery using project and programme management methodologies/disciplines
- The proven ability to manage budgets and provide financial reports as necessary
- Expertise in the management of project and programme inputs including internal reviews and Audits

Ideally you will have experience within the Media, telecommunications or marketing sectors.
