Contract IT Manager

- 9 - 12 Month Contract
- Excellent daily rate

Leading Western Sydney based specialist medical practice requires a Contract hands on IT Manager for their state of the art head office. The role is for an initial 9 - 12 months.

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for driving the established IT function and ensuring appropriate planning to this growing company for the future.

In particular, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of critical data to the business; oversee the structure and leadership of the IT team to promote the stability and reliability of key applications.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN:

- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with the business, IT staff and vendors.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining a strategy that ensures that all computer systems are brought onto and maintained in a compliant state to meet regulatory requirements.
- Consulting with the business to providing technology counselling and guidance and identify solutions to enhance business performance
- Directing IT design, development and maintenance of systems, programs and system software so as to meet management information requirements.
- Attending client sites to install hardware/software so that they can connect to the medical practice.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge of managing IT functions (Desktop support, server/network infrastructure, business systems, development etc).
- Knowledge of the computer system life cycle to include testing, implementation, operations and decommissioning.
- You will be 'hands-on' and operational, enjoy a fast pace, be 'customer-centric' and appreciate planning and contributing for the broader needs of the IT function in the future.
- Have a good compliance background and be familiar with working within a regulatory framework.
- Ideally, you will have a health background.
