Brussells Based Contract iOS Developer
Bring the highest levels of security, visibility, and manageability to mobile deployments used for critical communications with constituents, vendors, and other agencies, so that users will benefit from enterprise-class messaging and secure access to behind-the-Firewall data and applications, while IT can secure and manage its mobile deployment from a simple web-based console.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, architect, develop, test, release and maintain various components of the applications
Build unit tests to ensure high quality of features developed.
Work with the Product Management team to understand, clarify, and shape requirements, and to translate these into technical designs for the product.
Have fun, experiment, and work smartly to deliver best in class enterprise iOS phone, tablet and iOS watch products.
Help build an awesome culture by encouraging and inviting friends, former classmates and ex-coworkers to join in the fun.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of object-oriented software development experience
- 4+ years building iOS applications in Objective-C
- 4+ years mobile application development at the platform and system levels
- Experience building and releasing software on iPhone, iPad, and interest in developing software for the Apple Watch and other wearables.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across integrated platforms and systems
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
Big plus :-)
- Working knowledge of encryption and authentication technology in iOS or a strong passion to learn.
- Excellent design sense and an eye for simple and elegant user interfaces
- Detailed technical experience with Objective C, iOS tools, iOS system or internals
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of networking, operating systems, and security is a plus
- Familiarity and experience with Agile (scrum) development process
- Experience with multi-threading applications (dealing with locks, queues, deadlocks).
- Understanding of Datamodelling and design patterns.
- Experience with iOS UI prototyping best practices and knowledge working with Interface builder
- Experience with how to diagnose and fix memory and performance issues.
- Experience using git and stash
