Contract Infrastructure Consultant - Dublin CITY Centre

ROLE:

This role is responsible for interfacing with our customers and internal staff alike at a technical and non-technical level

You will be involved at all stages in the on the design and delivery of a wide variety of Enterprise level Infrastructure solutions, across a number of industry sectors

Capable of interpreting customer infrastructure requirement, you will design and deliver the appropriate solution, to achieve those requirements, on time and on budget

You will be an experienced, self-starter, experienced in a wide range of Infrastructure technologies, and looking to join a fast paced, multidiscipline team

SKILLS

- Enterprise virtualisation solutions - server and desktop (VMWare, Hyper V, Citrix)
- Enterprise level High Availability solutions (ie VMWare HA, Microsoft Clustering etc)
- Enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS, Left Hand Networks)
- Enterprise Level MS Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 (HA solutions)
- Disaster recovery and site replication solutions
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft AD, Server 2008, Server 2003
- Software as a Service expertise (Office 365, Google Apps)
- IAS (Infrastructure as a Service) expertise in Amazon EC2, Rackspace, Private Cloud etc
- Data Management products experience eg CommVault, Arcserve, Symantec Backup Exec, Enterprise Vault, SharePoint, et
- Very Strong Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012) deployment

Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and technologies

Strong Enterprise Storage exposure

DESIRABLE:

- Microsoft MCITP Certification a distinct advantage
- VMware VCP certification a distinct advantage
- Citrix qualification a distinct advantage
- Cisco certification an advantage
- Linux certification a distinct advantage
- Experience with MS SharePoint, MS xRM, etc an advantage
- Experience in the delivery of Cloud Computing Solutions a distinct advantage (SaaS: BPOS, Office 365 etc IaaS: Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace etc)
