A contract Drupal developer is required to join a leading public sector organisation based in Cardiff.
We are looking for a contractor with strong communication skills and skilled with all aspects of Drupal setup, optimization and configuration. The successful candidate will work on a new large scale application project and have the ability to interpret customer/internal requirements to establish complete and accurate functional specifications and product documentation as well as develop custom projects using Drupal, PHP, HTML and other languages.

This will be an excellent challenge for any developer as well as being a strong addition to your working background, giving the opportunity to work with interesting tech and nationally recognised projects.

The ideal contract Drupal developer will be keen to work in a relaxed/fun environment and most importantly will play a major role in the development of a new project. The successful candidate will effectively develop software to achieve the specified functionality, be knowledge or have experience with the Agile development methodology and be passionate about open source and interested in learning new technologies.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of -
* Delivering large scale sites using Drupal, PHP, HTML and with experience of load balancing and caching systems
* Using Views and Feature modules extensively
* Working on custom projects using Drupal, PHP, HTML and surrounding languages

Also, applicants will ideally be an avid contributor to the Drupal Open Source CMS and will be passionate about open source and interested in learning new technologies.
Other than this candidates should be knowledgeable about other technologies and able to suggest integration solutions and have the ability to speak confidently about cross platform integration with Drupal.

This project will last for around six months initially, however, has the possibility to roll on with additional related work.
