Contract Clinical Coder

* Contract Clinical Coder needed.* £260 - £270 Per Day.* An Accredited Clinical Coder is required for a contract with a large NHS Trust. The Clinical Coder will be covering a small back log of work and coding a wide range of specialities from a mix of paper based and EPR case notes.

The trust will need the Clinical Coder for an initial 3 months but its likely they will need the successful Clinical Coder untill the end of the year and potentially beyond that.

Essential Skills:

- ACC/NCCQ qualified
- Clinical Coding refresher course in the last 3 years
- The ability to code a wide range of specialities
- Ability to coder from paper based case notes and from the EPR system if required (Training of the specific system will be given on site)

Desirable skills:

- Reference course or training on the new updates for Clinical Coding effective form April 2015
- Able to confidently achieve 35+ FSE's per day

The client is able to wait up to 4 weeks for a notice period so this position is ideal for anyone in a current contract or looking to become a Contract Clinical Coder.
