Contract C&I Technician - Power Station

£160-£220 per day

Introduction…

We are currently recruiting two Control & Instrumentation Technicians to work at a CCGT power station that has recently come out of a commissioning phase in Nottinghamshire. The power station has 3 outages coming up this year which the successful candidates will be involved in. These positions guarantee the successful candidates at least 6 months of work and could be extended for a further 6 months thereafter.

What you will be doing…

* Fault finding, maintaining and calibrating a wide variety of instrumentation, alarm systems, PLC's and the sites DCS control System
* Ensuring all work that's carried out is done so in line with appropriate standards and regulations
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the (CMMS)
* Striving to improve plant safety, efficiency, performance and availability

What you will need…

* A relevant engineering qualification in control & instrumentation such as an HND/HNC/apprenticeship
* Experience maintaining and fault finding C&I assets in a heavy process environment such as a power station, gas storagefacility or a petrochemical site.
