Contract Analyst Job

CONTRACT ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh 's client located in Houston, Texas.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Contract management
- Negotiating and drafting complex contracts

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Administers Cradle-to-grave contract administration, primarily fixed price term service contracts, some professional services contracts, and vendor/supplier contracts
- Helps to resolve issues and challenges on assigned contracts and programs with guidance from management on more complex issues
- Builds strong relationships with customers, and vendors, and the internal team
- Analyzes and interprets contract terms and conditions highlighting any salient terms to help determine and manage risks
- Works closely with sales proposal team on the contract aspects of proposals, and leads/manages contract modifications, terminations, etc., coordinating with all involved functions and ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place
- Performs searches on Trade Prism for denied persons screening
- Negotiates and prepares non-disclosure agreements
- Creates/maintains contract files in accordance with company procedures
- Performs system entry and reporting of contracts into financial systems
- Coordinates with billing, order management and finance on revenue and cash business priorities including collections
- Prepares and disseminates various reports as required
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Will also assist in anticorruption and trade compliance programs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience, primarily in contract management including: negotiating, drafting and administrating complex contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive role issue resolution.
