An exciting opportunity exists for a Contract Airworthiness Support Engineer to work on an assignment for a leading Aerospace Engineering Company in the UK.

This role will enable you to work in a Design Organisation in support of the Head of design, in production of design airworthiness documentation, leading to the certification of modification and repairs.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the below tasks:
*Produce written certification documentation to support approval of modification and repairs of the aircraft
*Compilation of classification forms and compliance matrices depending to the requirements for each project
*Organise the activities of the Office of Airworthiness with regard to showing compliance with the regulations prior to certification
*Organising Office of Airworthiness meetings, preparing material and producing minutes
*Check changes to the airworthiness requirements and assign these to the design team

The successful candidate will have:
*Experience within an aerospace design organisation
*Good knowledge of airframe and system design
*An understanding of Airworthiness Regulations
*Understand all aspects of airworthiness through the life of a product
