CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION ENGINEER (DEVOPS, JENKINS, DOCKER, CI)
This is an exciting position working for a global financial services organisation at their offices in Brussels. The role is working within the core DevOps Teams and is responsible for optimising the build, test and deployment of software for different technologies by implementing new processes and supporting tools which follow the DevOps principles. There are several new projects in the pipeline and as such they are looking for someone with significant experience of working in an enterprise scale financial services environment who is prepared for a long-term engagement.
SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE;
- Optimising and upgrading the existing continuous build and integration platform to Jenkins 2
- Proposing new and innovative ways to improve efficiency and productivity
- Designing how new tools and processes will be integrated or added to existing platforms
- Keeping up-to-date on the industry standards and evolutions
- Participate in the construction of a new continuous integration pipeline to enable to state-of-the-art architectural patterns, like containerised micro-services.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION IS;
- Experience implementing continuous build, integration and deployment systems using Jenkins
- Experience with continuous build platforms like Maven, Nexus and SVN/Git
- Experience on a variety of platforms like Windows, Linux and Mac
- Experience with Scripting languages for automation
- Experience of Docker for containerisation
