Content Management Support Specialist

For our client, global insurance leader, we are looking for CONTENT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST to work on an INITIAL 6 MONTH contract in SWINDON/ CHELTENHAM to help with improving the customer journey.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- publication and editing of website content to support to the Marketing function to make

improvements to website functionality, design and experience to optimise online journey, accessibility and customer engagement - supporting marketing with web editing and functionality needs so content remains engaging, compliant and relevant to optimise customer experience and improve conversion
- to understand if there are any restrictions with the technology used
- to change the content on websites as well as add value and suggestions on how to make improvements
- provides advice and guidance on using SharePoint
- assisting Site Owners with the configuration of their site, in line with SharePoint Guidelines
- identifying support needs and developing support capability to meet new needs
- developing the way of working to improve support and knowledge within the team

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

- proven experience in suggesting customer journey/content improvements
- excellent skills and knowledge in Content Management System (CMS) - Microsoft SharePoint platform (2007)
- exposure to MOSS 2013 and Sitecore CMS preferred but not essential (including templates, layouts, workflow/permissions, general architecture, performance optimisation)
- being able to analyse business/functional requirements and translate them into deliverable solutions
- awareness of SEO functionality and how site/build can effect performance
- knowledge of web toolkits such as JQuery, social widgets to optimise site design/experience
- knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS functionality
- understanding of UI/UX design and implementation principles
- understanding of responsive design for mobile sites
- basic Photoshop skills - eg resizing and cropping images
