Consultant Planner - Projects Team

Annual Salary - £22,443 - £28,922

Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Responsible to the Projects team manager and working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will have specific responsibility for the delivery of planning services through the delivery of project based work for both internal departments and external clients which support a sustainable environment, thriving economy and support business needs

The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of specialist advice and projects in relation to environmental and planning services, within budget and to agreed timescales, working closely with a wide range of customers and key stakeholders.

The role will also work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver larger cross cutting fee earning projects where planning expertise is required

The successful candidate is likely to be able to;

- Have demonstrable experience in the delivery and/or procedures of sustainability appraisal/strategic environmental assessment services
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and GIS, or is willing to develop knowledge
- Have an understanding and demonstrable experience of working with the planning system

Any successful applicant to this post would be appointed on a fixed term contract.
