The Hospital in question is accepting applicants with full GMC Specialist registration & previous NHS Consultant experience within Oncology.
The Oncology team at this particular centre is a busy unit covering all oncology specialities, is of international reputation with an extensive research programme.
This new post will provide total consultant cover for all inpatient Oncology areas (Elective admissions, Cancer Assessment Unit (CAU), inpatients, Acute Oncology Service at CXH) to fit a new model of care for the service.
A new CAU and ambulatory care unit has been created alongside the elective admission unit which allows rapid assessment, admission avoidance and planned day care work to be undertaken.
