Consultant

Our client has in immediate need of multiple Energy Auditors for a 6+ -month contract assignment in the Florida and Georgia areas. Responsibilities to include conducting energy audits and evaluations for the correction and/or improvement of client facilities and operations. Works as part of a team of auditors responsible for complex auditing assignments. Draws upon prior experience within the sustainability related industry to complete assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs Energy and Sustainability Audits using established auditing software and systems
- Evaluation of the use of sustainable materials in operations and construction as well as alternative fuel types in sustainability programs
- Determines, or assists in determining, the direction of the proposed audit effort
- Determines areas of risk and appraises their significance in relation to operational factors of cost, schedule, and quality

REQUIREMENTS

- BS or Associates Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
- 3+ years of auditing experience in sustainability related fields (utility management, energy auditing, mechanical or electrical system design or plan review)
- Requires a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building and utility systems , as well as business systems and practices, used by the sustainability related fields
- Strong written and oral communication skills, a proficiency in utilizing standard PC software packages
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
- Reliable transportation
