Construction Superintendent (m/w/d)

Currently we are searching for a Construction Superintendent.

Activities:
+ Ensure and promote the application of the Company safety and environment rules and specifications throughout the works.
+ Ensure that contractors comply with safety rules, taking actions as required in case of disregard of the rules, stopping the works if they are deemed unsafe, and organising tool-box meetings and recovery plans.
+ Ensure and monitor the safety of personnel and installations as well as the protection of the environment.
+ Participates in regular Safety audits at the construction site. Contributes in Lessons learned
+ Approve contractor Construction procedures and method statements in line with Project requirements
+ Approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Ensure contractor Control of Work processes are adhered to.
+ Manage QA/QC processes with Construction Supervisors and QC Inspectors and ensure contractor compliance.
+ Manage SC Construction Supervisors on a daily basis and ensure there is adequate field surveillance of contractor construction activities.
+ Identify key risks to delivery and ensure adequate risk mitigation or contingency plans are in place. Report to Construction Manager of any concerns.
+ Manage sub system and system handover to Commissioning Team and manage Punch Lists. Release completion certificates.
+ Monitor field execution progress and report progress for the purpose of project monitoring and evaluation
+ Submit a weekly report to the Construction Manager.
+ Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by the Construction Manager.

+ Advanced relevant construction work experience, preferable in the Refining and Petrochemicals industry.
+ Demonstrate high ethical conduct and HSE focus mindset and behaviour
+ Extensive construction experience ( +10 years).
+ Experience supervising or managing discipline supervisors.
+ Experience with detailed design phase planning and construction.
