Construction Procurement Consultant

CONSTRUCTION PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT with RICS OR RIAS MEMBERSHIP, required for 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in EDINBURGH OR GLASGOW.

You will be involved with the following:

- Review the process of how organisations have the capability and capacity to procure works and to carry out construction projects
- Design the framework of a new construction procurement manual
- Help procurers deliver more efficient procurements which are proportionate to the project
- Outputs will include guidance and procedures for the construction procurement manual

Experience required:

- Thorough knowledge of construction processes including concept development and different forms of contract currently in use in Scotland
- Thorough knowledge of public procurement processes and procedures
- Report writing skills
- Understanding of process auditing
- Member of an appropriate construction professional body, ie RICS, RIAS

Candidates will be expected to either already hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
