DEPARTMENT: NFS Capital Projects

SIZE OF DEPARTMENT: 10

TRAVEL: Will have to provide support for multiple service areas

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide construction financial assistance to the capital projects team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The primary focus is on analysing financial data as it related to capital projects
- This includes validating overall project cost and schedule with available system information, as well as information provided by the project manager and relevant stakeholders
- Analyzing available data through the life cycle of project, to help identify potential risks in the forecasts provided by a project team is the main responsibility

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- BA in Finance or Accounting
- Plus minimum 6 years' financial or project controls experience, including 2 years in architectural, design, contracting, and project management or construction environment
- Must have construction finance/accounting background
- Must be very good with systems/technology
- Very proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Very strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment
