Senior Consolidation & Planning Manager - London - 12 Month contract - Financial Services

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the overall approach and timetable for, the planning of a particular area of the organisations delivery. You will demonstrate strong leadership through facilitation of the planning approach across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pushing through medium short term plans for delivery.
- Change timeframes and introduce a workable approach for planning within the organisation.
- Support directors and senior stakeholders to set direction or priorities for the planning cycle.
- Define and agree the overall approach and timetable for the planning process with steering groups and board members.
- Implement medium and short term plans which feasibly deliver strategic intent, this should enable successful tracking, reporting and action planning.
- Work alongside the finance team to ensure effective integration of the organisations financial planning and budgeting.
- Introduce a planning approach for innovative new technology business.
- Facilitate virtual planning teams through via a Matrix type system.
- Manage planning processes where the products are innovative and therefore difficult to estimate both the build and market reactions.
- A background within the E-commerce or mobile sector is highly advantageous.
