Confirmations/Contracts Coordinator - Commodity Trading - Gas & Power

World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Confirmations/
Contracts Coordinator to work closely with the Documentation Negotiators, commercial teams and the legal department.

ABOUT THE CONFIRMATIONS/CONTRACTS COORDINATOR ROLE:

- Focused on the European gas, power and environmental products markets.
- Checking Trader Deal Sheets against records to ensure accuracy of the deal capture.
- Reconciling all Broker Recaps against records to ensure accuracy.
- Drafting and ensuring timely dispatch of all Counterparty Confirmations.
- Receiving and reconciling all Counterparty Confirmations.
- Ensuring compliance with the Global Contracts Policy Statements and relevant SOX Controls.
- Supporting the provision of regular monthly MIS and KPI in respect of the CC activities.

ABOUT YOU:

- As Confirmations/Contracts Coordinator you will ideally come from a commodity trading environment.
- Have a sound working knowledge (ideally from a similar role) of the end-to-end confirmations process involved with physical gas, power and emissions, and financial derivatives.
- Be a proven team player with a record of striving for team goals in a non-competitive environment.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
