Configuration Manager - Git Specialist

Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Telecommunications company focussing on Mobile Phone R&D we are looking for a Configuration Manager with Git Expertise. (f/m)

PROJECT START: asap

PROJECT LENGTH: 6 Months+

LOCATION : Munich

RESPONSIBILITIES :

-Develop and maintain the software configuration management system based on Git
-Co-administration of the Git infrastructure
-Define and deploy the software development workflow
-Collaborate in customer projects
-Technical support for the developer community
-Design and develop new modules for the software development process
-Training of software developers

KNOW HOW:

-Very good knowledge about Git version control system
-Experience in software development (C/C++, Java, C#)
-Familiar with Windows and UNIX environments

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

-Experience with Android
-Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python)
-Experience in Software Change- and configuration management desired
-Ability to understand complex software development environments

LANGUAGES :

-Very good English is required for team communication and documentation
