Configuration Manager (German Speaking)

Projektbeschreibung
Our client seeks a German speaking software configuration manager for a long term role in Luzern.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To liaise with the Development and QA teams to manage the regular deployment of software applications and components into a range of QA/Test environments.
- To manage the dependencies between software builds from different workstreams and to ensure that only compatible versions are deployed into the QA environments
- To create and maintain Build and Release Plans
- To ensure that all QA environment builds are stable and communicate build status to the relevant teams
- To ensure that accurate and timely Build & Release Notes are produced and distributed to the appropriate
- Development, QA and Implementation teams
- To manage test data with responsibility to back up and restore databases as required.
- To liaise with the Managed Services teams to administer all QA environments within the Data Centre.
- To build and maintain new development/test environments and to generate appropriate documentation to support such builds going forward.
- To monitor the status and health of the deployed environments and to identify release implementation issues, evaluate risk and escalate as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in Software Configuration Management
- Experience with MS TFS (Branching & Merging)
- Experience with MS Build (automated Build)
- Reporting, Scripting experience
