We are pleased to present this opportunity to you on behalf of our client. This is a great opportunity for you. As a Configuration Manager you will be involved in an exciting infrastructure project of the company and have good exposure in the business.

FOCUS OF THE PROJECT

GPS System Integration specializes in the development and maintenance of system solutions in the field of health care. The GPS System Integration team is now expanding and is seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced Configuration Manager to strengthen the Configuration Management department and the project team contributing to the overall successful delivery of the project objectives

AS CONFIGURATION MANAGER, YOU WILL

-

Define the Configuration Management Plan for the project under your responsibility
-

Identify the configuration items (CI) at appropriate levels, define and create the product structure in the Product Data Management system
-

Capture the configuration documentation required for each CI to define its performance, functional and physical attributes including all relevant configured deliverable
-

Ensure proper release, change control and status accounting for the Configuration Items and their documentation (Hardware, Software and other relevant system components)
-

Define, create, release and control the configuration baselines required for designated uses and project development milestones
-

Interact with project- and other business area interfaces to ensure a consistent maintenance of the configuration definition for the relevant product and project scope

Ensure appropriate reporting consistent with the product development process and the needs of the different stakeholders (project management, HW- and SW development, system integration, validation&verification, operations, logistic support and others)

Release and disseminate configuration information to all stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

-

ETH/FH degree in engineering, IT or equivalent scientific study (or comparable professional experience)
-

More than 3 years of experience in Configuration Management, preferably in highly regulated industries ( ie health care, aerospace or other mission critical complex industrial environment)
-

Knowledge of industrial processes and relevant technical Product Data Management workflows and methods
-

Industrial equipment and systems life cycle
-

Knowledge of fundamental HW and SW CM Rules
-

Product Data Management (PDM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tools (preferably SAP)
-

Good Knowledge of MS Office applications
-

Ability to communicate effectively English and German (written and oral)
-

Desire to learn and to achieve results
-

Exposure to different cultures and multi-national team experience
-

Team player
-

Experience in regulated environment
