Projektbeschreibung
Our client in Brussels is looking for a Configuration manager
Tasks
. Own configuration management procedure and guidelines.
. Responsible for the source code management under GIT.
. Responsible for the document management under Sharepoint.
. Work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects to
. set up the configuration items list
. manage their baselines
. understand impacts of branches and code merges, as needed
. set up their build dev/test environments
. Conduct configuration audits within the projects to ensure that they comply with the CM procedure.
. Put under configuration all the software tools and components currently managed outside the releases.
. Review and assist the project team for creating the release notes.
. Continually work towards making improvements in the configuration process.
. Identify and suggest scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
. Maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists (ie Artifactory).
. Configuring and packaging software releases and updates.
. Completing detailed documentation regarding the software building, release and installation process.
. Create/maintain/support virtual environments for the development team.
. Provides technical administration (updates) and support for all the software development and management tools (JIRA, Netbeans, Bugzilla, Cradle, Wiki ).
. Ensures the integrity and operational performance of these software development and management tools.
Skills
. Experience in building, establishing and improving SCM processes
. Solid experience using GIT and Sharepoint
. Solid experience using VMware products
. Solid experience in JIRA
. Solid understanding of Configuration management
. Solid experience in Linux, PostgreSQL
. Solid experience with automation of builds
. Solid experience with automated deployment
. Solid ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
. Experience with Stratus is a plus
. Experience with Cradle is a plus
. Experience with norms like ISO 9000, CSM, CENELEC 50128 is a plus
. Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
. Proficiency in MS Office applications
. Good communication skills and team player
. Fluent in English, Dutch and French
