Configuration Manager

Working on client site you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration of a complex deployment covering over 50 logical product capabilities. During deployment, this configuration needs to be managed and inserted in a logical sequence into the operational systems for management.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Participating in the development of a Configuration Management plan in-conjunction with the Service Delivery strategic plan.
- Reporting on a monthly basis the progress against strategic targets.
- Leadership and management of the Configuration Management resources.
- Responsibility of all Configuration services in order to ensure full and ongoing customer satisfaction in accordance with SLA and contractual obligations.

Key Skills/Experience:

- To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role in a large, complex ICT environment and be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- The management of the IT infrastructure and resources required to plan for, develop, deliver and support properly-engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business.
- The preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process and the maintenance of regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- The management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance.
- The management of bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network and outsourced services.
- The development of continual service improvement plans to ensure the IT infrastructure adequately supports business needs.
- Ability to monitor performance and takes corrective action where necessary.
