Configuration Analyst - Retail Banking - £280.00 per day - Cardiff

My client, a leading UK bank, requires a Business Configuration Analyst to join them on an interim basis for approximately six months. This role sits within the Products and Intermediaries division and will be focused on the Group Simplification Programme.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The Simplification programme aims to make the Group leaner and more efficient. This includes everything from products to processes and systems to structure. The Credit Cards Simplification programme will complete the integration work for the Credit Cards Business, building on the foundation set by Integration Release C and delivering the Target Operating Model of a single set of systems and processes for the Cards business.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As part of GSR Credit Cards Back book migration we require dedicated experienced Configuration Analysts with both the experience of the Credit Cards Business and Migrations.

CC Incident & Problem Management (CCIPM) team is currently based in Southend (Team will however be moving to Chelsford at the end of 2013).. The team is a face paced environment. The contractor will need to understand the systems and processes required to perform Incident and Problem management. This involves liaising with various internal/external partners, primarily Group IT & First Data in order to manage complex, high profile incidents. They will also be required to facilitate conference calls with senior stakeholders, therefore organisational, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Working closely with the wider CC business to ensure swift solutions are deployed followed by customer rectifications.

DESIRED SKILLS

Also being responsible for delivering professional, accurate MI and communications using Excel & crystal. Experience in both applications is desirable though not essential
