Computer Systems Validation Engineer

A leading Medical Device company, located in MN, is in need of a Computer Systems Validation Lead to support their IT Quality infrastructure. The company specilizes in developing technologies to treat cardiac, neurological and chronic patients. The Validation Lead will be responsible for the following: - Computer System Validation of Instruments and Process Equipment - Writing and editing validation documents and protocols - Validating various internal systems focused on Change Control, Training Records, and IT - Develop and manage GxP system life cycle documentation - Conduct System Compliance Risk Assessment - Lead validation efforts in IT systems - Mentor junior staff members The Validation Lead must meet the following requirements: - B.S. - Minimum of 6 years experience in computer systems validation / QA - Minimum of 6 years experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries - Strong understanding of Part 820, Part 811 and Part 801 - Experience validating IT systems and equipment used in lab - Ability to analyze data from a business perspective - Excellent writing and communication skills - Project Management experience - Proven leader - Self Starter This is a 6 month contract, $60-$70/hour.
