Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technician

We are actively looking for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technician to join our global pharmaceutical client in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Define machining strategies and tools, create CNC programs and test these programs on CNC equipment to make prototypes.
You are an expert in CNC turning, your skills will be used by the company to create, improve and troubleshoot the machining processes of these CNC workshops.

Responsibilities
-Defining the machining ranges
-Defining tools
-Carrying out CNC programs
-Set up and test CNC programs on CNC machine tools
-Proposing and monitoring the implementation of improvements in the machining ranges
-Participate in the selection of new equipment, the definition of the specifications and their facilities
-Document the set-ups and changes in machining range, write instructions and machining procedures for production
-Support for engineers with their production activities
-Support for production during start-ups

Qualifications

-Machinist, Mechanic or equivalent title
-In-depth knowledge of CNC, multi-spindle turning is a plus
-Knowledge of the medical field is a plus
-Good ability to manage machining projects
-Able to work independently
-Rigorous, open-minded
-Good problem-solving ability
-Teamwork, able to work in a project team
