S.Coms prestigious aerospace client is currently searching for a number of Composite Finishers to begin a contract ASAP based in Dorset.

Composite Fitters - skill and experience requirement - We are looking for a candidate who's CV demonstrates an experience of high level detailed finishing in an environment that demands the best in presentation and quality.

Assembly and bonding of high quality, high value aircraft interiors for premium airlines first class and upper class cabins.

Refurbishment of aircraft interiors in workshop, hangar and line environments, without the aid of process instructions and working only to drawings.

New build Composite interior structures including stowages and doors, windbreaks, ottoman bulkheads and complex bar units.

Assembled primarily using two pack adhesive bonding materials together with metallic fasteners and core inserts.

Modifications to interior composite structures to suit airline requirements using tech drawings.

Removal and Installation of all cabin and flight deck interior on aircraft such as Airbus A300, A330 and A380 and Boeing 747, 777 and 787 among others.

Refurbishment of Aircraft interiors using hand tools and metrology measuring equipment to fine tolerances.

All units require utmost attention to detail. Final "finessing" of units is vital to meet demanding presentation and quality requirements of both our clients and customer standards.

Please note:
We are NOT looking for composite laminators or airframe metal fitters - these are different skills and they would need re-training which is not what we are looking for in a contractor.The recruiter has stated that all applicants for this job should be able to prove they are legally entitled to work in the UK.
