Compliance Officer - Outside Business Interest (4775)

For a short term project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

COMPLIANCE OFFICER - OUTSIDE BUSINESS INTEREST (4775)

The ideal candidate will provide support on general Conflict of Interest matters. Assess potential conflicts of interest situation (mainly for Risk Managers) and elaborate appropriate solutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3-4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN COMPLIANCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE
- KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING EXPERIENCE IN RISK MANAGEMENT/COMPLIANCE WOULD BE A BIG PLUS
- Degree level or equivalent, ie Bachelor/Master in Law or Economics
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently, proactively and with demanding business partners
- Ability to identify situations requiring escalation as well as good analytical skills
- GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assess Outside Business Interest requests and bring down the number of pending requests/reduce the backlog
- Support the team in reviewing conflict of interest cases such as between RM and clients
- Identify potential conflicts of interests/reputational concerns and manage escalations of Outside Business Interest cases
