RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client requires a contract Compliance Officer to support the current CO in the establishment and oversight of a fit-for-purpose Compliance framework. The position will focus on identifying and documenting required standards, policies, processes and procedure for the Compliance Department and business on a whole.

You will be expected to:

- Design an appropriate set of control standards, mitigation strategies, policies and processes to support the compliance framework;
- Identify appropriate management information to monitor the operational effectiveness of policies, procedures, systems and controls;
- Design AML procedures, systems and controls;
- Identify and design appropriate compliance and AML tracking programmes and adequate awareness arrangements

REQUIREMENTS

- PREVIOUS COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE WITHIN A LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY IS ESSENTIAL
- Excellent knowledge of UK Regulations including FCA Handbook, Money Laundering Regulations and Treating Customers Fairly/Conduct Risk
- Ideally has previous experience of working as a CF10 Money Laundering Reporting officer
- Strong communications skills are essential with the ability to deal with stakeholders at the most senior levels
