Compliance Monitoring Consultant

My client, a global Investment Banking organisation based in the City of London are currently looking for an experienced Compliance Monitoring consultant to sit within the organisations Compliance Regulatory arena. The Compliance monitoring consultant will be required to work closely with Divisional Heads, Compliance Advisor's, Risk Managers and other Compliance Consultants.

The Compliance Monitoring consultant will have the opportunity to work with very senior individuals right across the Group. The consultant will be responsible for executing a risk based Compliance Monitoring Plan by way of conduct risk reviews, drafting reports and compiling evidential working papers.

Candidate must be comfortable investigating business areas to ensure they are operating in-line with Group Standard and FSA/FCA/PRA regulations.

ROLE OBJECTIVES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To identify areas of regulatory control weakness within IBP and work with the business and compliance advisers to develop controls to address such weaknesses.
- To ensure that processes procedures and conduct for UK and non-UK jurisdictions are in line with Group Standards.
- To prepare relevant management information and reporting.
- To execute a risk based Compliance Monitoring Plan by way of conduct risk based reviews, drafting reports and compiling evidential working papers.
- To prepare relevant management information and reporting.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

- Minimum of 3 Years Financial Services expertise
- Good knowledge and experience of Investment Banking (products, services, client's, relevant regulations)
- Must have prior Compliance Monitoring or Audit expertise
- Knowledge of relevant regulations including FSA and Exchange rules.
- Understanding of general Private and Investment Banking terms, and Capital Market products.
