Compliance Manager (Ofcom, FCA, Consumer Credit)

COMPLIANCE MANAGER (OFCOM, FCA, CONSUMER CREDIT)

My client is a global telecoms company who require a Compliance Manager that will carry out Compliance Monitoring activity across the company and its third party partners in relation to FCA regulated activity.

The key focus of the role will be ensuring compliance in FCA regulated activity in in relation to the Consumer Credit Act and FCA CONC Rules and to ensure that effective day to day operational management of the Compliance framework is in place and to flag concerns to the relevant stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE

- Extensive knowledge of FCA Consumer Credit Rules, Consumer Credit Act and Guidelines
- Extensive knowledge of OFCOM Regulatory requirements
- Degree educated, preferably in Law.

EXPERIENCE

- Experience of communicating and working with management
- Experience of carrying out Compliance Monitoring within a regulated firm
- Experience of interpreting legislation
- Experience of carrying out Quality Assurance reviews and engaging Senior Management
- Experience of driving change in a regulated firm
- Previous experience in Consumer Credit
