Compliance and risk Specialist

This role is to work with the technical IT teams to ensure their Business Continuity Technical Recovery Plans (TRP's) are produced and returned within agreed timescales to enable the production of an overall Data Centre Resumption Plan.

Job Responsibilities:

* Make contact with each technical team lead to obtain dates for the return of their plans
* Follow up with any technical leads who need further assistance
* Maintain the overall tracking document and ensure it is always kept up to date
* Produce reports on the overall status of the TRP returns
* Arrange any meetings / workshops with the technical teams
* Review the returned TRP's in accordance with the defined guidelines
* Update the overall recovery task list

Key Requirements:

* Passionate, self-motivated, and driven.
* Strong communicator with a high degree of written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact at all levels, building and strengthening positive relationships at every touch point.
* Always approaches things from the customer's perspective seeing potential problems and finding and driving solutions
* Ability to effectively manage fluctuating workloads and changing priorities/deadlines and able to perform under pressure.
* Self motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision to successfully deliver against objectives.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Solid overall understanding of IT technology, including networks, systems and applications.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office and particular Excel.
* An understanding of Business Continuity would be an advantage.
