Compliance Analyst

On behalf of hyphens utilities client I am looking to recruit a Compliance Analyst for 3 months based in Warwick.

Job purpose:
Responsible for the delivery of a work plan which supports Shared Services compliance frameworks including, internal policies, regulatory reporting standards, external compliance standards and the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Performing and evaluating detailed technical controls testing. This role wiill involve undertaking controls testing within an in-bedded process and programme.

Experience required:
*Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience (execution, testing and consolidation)
*SOX section 404 and 302
*Experience and knowledge of regulatory or operational controls, or wider internal control frameworks
*Ability to understand and critically assess and map business processes and controls
*Strong technical accounting or auditing skills with a working knowledge of tax and company law preferable
*Knowledge and experience of other internal and external compliance frameworks
*Experience of writing Process Flow Commentaries, Risk and Control Matrices (RACM) & test scripts to high standards of quality
*Strong engagement experience with Business stakeholders
*Strong understanding and experience of testing IT General Controls
*Good working knowledge of COBIT framework
*Proficient use and knowledge of business systems and analytical tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Strong organisational experience
*Proactive self-starter with ability to manage own workload, to time and desired levels of quality
